New Zealand Rugby is looking for a technical and research support coordinator to promote the administration, implementation and evaluation of our concussion strategy within community rugby.

About the role

An exciting opportunity to be involved in New Zealand Rugby’s Community Concussion Initiative has opened. The Community Concussion Initiative includes concussion awareness, education, healthcare provider engagement, and concussion management through an app-based Concussion Management Pathway. The primary role of this position is to assist with the administration, implementation, and evaluation of the Concussion Management Pathway.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will be a research coordinator and ideally have project administration, information technology and research experience. You will have a relevant bachelor’s or postgraduate (Master’s or PhD) degree in a suitable research-centred discipline or in other health-related fields. 

In addition to great communication and stakeholder management skills, you will be tech savvy and happy to work autonomously. You will also need to have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. 

Please note, this services engagement contract is for up to 40 hours per week.
