Rugby World Cup 2021 is coming to New Zealand! This is a fantastic opportunity to super-charge women’s rugby. With the tournament kicking off on 18 September 2021 in Auckland and Whangarei, your energy is needed to deliver a world class event that will leave a sustainable legacy for future generations. We are seeking an experienced Social & Digital Content Specialist to join our passionate, hardworking team to deliver this incredible event!
Our Social & Digital Content Specialist role is critical to winning the hearts of our spectators and fans – with the majority of crowds expected to be attending women’s games for the first time. You will be developing and delivering the social media strategy, producing and sharing inspiring content, and driving communications across our digital channels to maximise the reach and depth of engagement for RWC2021.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in digital content/social media environment
- Experience managing social media channels (ideally including working with talent/influencers).
- Photoshop or similar design skills
- Video editing skills, ideally with Adobe Premiere
- Excellent online briefing, copywriting and editing skills
- The ability to quickly develop effective relationships and be a confident presenter
